Job Title: Application Support Engineer (.Net / Java + SQL)
About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Application Support Engineer to join their growing IT team in Singapore. This position is ideal for a Malaysian professional with hands-on experience in .Net or Java and SQL, who is passionate about problem-solving and ensuring system reliability in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 2/3 application support for enterprise systems.
Troubleshoot issues related to .NET or Java-based applications and SQL databases.
Analyze recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.
Work closely with development teams to deliver timely fixes and enhancements.
Prepare documentation, SOPs, and performance reports.
Participate in on-call or shift rotation if required.
Requirements
Experience: 3–5 years in Application Support or related role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in .NET (C#/ASP.NET) or Java (Spring Boot, J2EE).
Strong knowledge of SQL Server / Oracle / MySQL.
Familiar with ITIL, ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently in a client-facing environment.
Willing to relocate or commute to Singapore.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
