Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
Implement scalable data architectures leveraging Azure Synapse, Data Lake, and Delta Lake technologies.
Integrate data from multiple sources and systems to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases.
Collaborate with clients to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Optimise data processing for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in the cloud.
Ensure solutions follow best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
Contribute to continuous improvement through automation, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Data Engineer working within Azure data environments.
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric (Data Pipelines, Dataflows, OneLake, Synapse experiences).
Experience with Azure Databricks, including PySpark, SQL, and data transformations.
Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.
Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
Solid understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and cloud architecture principles.
Familiarity with DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices for data engineering.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
