About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that support business analytics and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in data engineering, database management, and ETL processes, with a focus on ensuring data quality, reliability, and accessibility.
You will collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and IT teams to transform raw data into actionable insights and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
Develop and manage relational and non-relational databases to support business analytics.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across multiple sources and systems.
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to understand data requirements.
Optimize and troubleshoot data processes for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
Implement data governance and security best practices.
Document data architecture, workflows, and processes for internal reference.
Stay up to date with emerging data engineering technologies and tools.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
3–7 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or database management.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and ETL frameworks.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
Knowledge of Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Must have the legal right to work in Singapore.
