The Interventional Systems division (TIS) delivers innovative, high-quality solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, as well as interventional procedures. We focus on minimally invasive therapies that reduce the physical burden on patients. Our portfolio includes diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for Interventional Cardiology (IC), Peripheral Intervention (PI), and Interventional Oncology (IO).
Job Summary
As a Sales Representative, you will be part of the Benelux Endovascular Intervention (EVI) Sales and Marketing team. Your primary objective is to manage sales and marketing activities for the EVI product range. You will promote high-quality products, maintain relationships with existing customers, and expand the company’s market share by developing new accounts.
Your focus will be on the Northern region of the Netherlands. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will contribute to the continued growth of Terumo.
Job Responsibilities
Market \& Product Expertise:
Stay informed about market trends, competition, and industry developments.
Understand and address customer requirements effectively.
Work with marketing to implement product and technical support strategies.
Sales \& Revenue Growth:
Manage sales activities for assigned products and territories.
Set sales targets and pricing strategies in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
Analyze sales performance and propose corrective actions to achieve objectives.
Support business growth and ensure profitability for assigned product groups.
Conduct market analysis to support strategic planning.
Sales \& Marketing Strategy Implementation:
Execute defined strategies to enhance sales and profitability.
Identify new sales opportunities and innovative methods.
Strengthen sales channels and product positioning.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Business Units, Regulatory Affairs) to achieve sales objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Act as the main contact for clinical trials within your region.
Foster relationships with external authorities and industry organizations.
Event \& Customer Engagement:
Represent Terumo at local conferences, congresses, and trade fairs.
Organize and deliver training sessions for internal and external customers in collaboration with the Product Manager.
Regulatory \& Reporting Compliance:
Ensure proper handling of customer complaints.
Maintain accurate and complete CRM reporting.
Submit monthly reports to facilitate seamless communication.
Represent the company professionally with all stakeholders.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Profile Description
3-5 years of relevant sales experience.
Strong knowledge of sales techniques.
Fluent in English and Dutch.
Preferably has a network of Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, or Cardiologists.
Familiarity with the local market is a plus.
Team player with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, results-driven, and able to perform under pressure.
