Our suite of energy products for grid-connected and off-grid applications performs a variety of high value functions for utilities, businesses, and residential customers. The industrial energy products team is growing rapidly and is adding highly qualified members to the product, engineering, finance, and sales teams.

As an EMEA Product Manager, you will define and commercialize product offerings for Megapack, our B2B utility-scale energy storage solution, for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. You will leverage your expertise to develop market and product requirements needed to deliver industry-leading products. You will also be a key technical member of a cross-functional Product Management team that supports the ongoing development of technical content for sales, finance, and engineering teams for Tesla’s industrial energy products.

As a member of the Product Management team focused on supporting the EMEA organization and market, you will be required to wear many hats and adapt to a fast-paced work environment. This is a multi-faceted role where strong knowledge of both commercial and engineering (electrical, mechanical, systems) topics is a must, and energy and/or product management experience is highly desired. This role is based in Amsterdam, sits with the Industrial Energy regional team, and reports to the global product team in Palo Alto, California. Working hours will involve global time zones.

What You'll Do* Drive industrial storage product strategy and offering for EMEA based on market research, competitive diligence and customer feedback.

Represent the region in all product processes, including:

Defining market and product requirements to inform the roadmap.

Providing the voice of the region in new offering prioritization and development.

Driving regional adaptations of global offerings (e.g., SCADA, OMI).

Coordinating translations of technical publications.

Be accountable for commercialization and successful launch of new offerings in EMEA.

Educate regional teams and enforce adherence to global processes (e.g., CompIntel).

Support the regional team in making product-related decisions.

Own requirements and roadmap process for region-specific features or offerings.

What You'll Bring* Degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or Energy-related field preferred, or equivalent experience

5+ year(s) of experience in product management or in the energy industry, preferably in the energy storage technology space

Deep passion for and understanding of the stakeholders and kinds of requirements involved in BESS and sustainable energy

Experience with Utilities, IPPs, and/or large-scale energy developers is a plus

An overall rock-solid blend of engineering (electrical, mechanical) and commercial expertise.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams across the globe.

Ability to execute many projects and tasks in parallel, across many teams, in a short timeframe, with demonstrated ability to pivot rapidly

Deep passion for changing the way we use energy on the electric grid. A bias for action to propose changes as needed based on industry knowledge, voice of customer, techno-economic analysis, and business or mission value
