The role
The
Full-Stack Java Engineer
will contribute across the technical stack - frontend and backend - building features that power the platform’s user experience and APIs.
The role involves tight collaboration with
cross-functional teams
, ensuring seamless integration, high quality, secure code, and robust performance.
You'll be
Developing and maintaining
Angular
applications, ensuring clear, efficient, and reliable user experiences.
Building and extending back-end services in
Java (Spring Boot)
, with emphasis on
REST API
development and consumption.
Translating requirements from product owners and designers into maintainable, well-tested code.
Ensuring security, documentation, and tight integration between front-end and back-end.
Participating in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning across the stack.
Using version control via GitHub SCM \& Gitflow.
Contributing to improving the scalability, performance, and security of the entire system.
You'll bring
Strong experience in
Java
, preferably with
Spring Boot
.
Proficiency in
Angular
(
TypeScript
,
RxJS
, component design).
Experience building and consuming
RESTful APIs
.
Familiarity with front-end build tools (
npm
,
Angular CLI
).
Comfortable using a
relational database
(PostgreSQL preferred).
Solid understanding of version control workflows and good practices.
Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience with
Docker
and containerised environments.
Exposure to
CI/CD pipelines
and
DevOps
practices.
Familiarity with
cloud platforms
(Azure preferred).
Experience using
Jenkins
.
Knowledge of other front-end frameworks or libraries.
