CSI Companies is hiring a Remote Product Owner – Medicaid \& DSNP Claims (Facets) for our Fortune100 healthcare client.

Location: Remote

Pay: $48/hr. based on experience, certifications, and education

Hours: Full time hours, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm CST or EST

Status: Long-term Consultant: Starting off as a consultant/contractor there is always potential for long term / conversion for the right employee upon business needs. Almost all of the positions within this client start off as a contractor due to being a Fortune 100 company.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with deep Medicaid and DSNP claims expertise to join our client’s Government Operations technology team. This role will serve as the voice of the business, translating complex operational and system requirements into actionable user stories for the development team. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical partners, and Agile teams to define project goals, drive process improvements, and deliver solutions that improve the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of claims processing systems.

This position offers the flexibility to work remote from anywhere in the U.S. while supporting large-scale initiatives impacting millions of healthcare members.

Job Responsibilities:

Serve as the Product Owner for a Scrum Team, ensuring features and functionality align with business objectives.

Collaborate with business stakeholders and end users to gather, define, and document requirements in a healthcare claims setting.

Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria using the Given-When-Then (GWT) format.

Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and dependencies.

Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).

Validate completed work to ensure alignment with user stories and quality expectations.

Support the design and testing of system enhancements within CSP Facets.

Communicate regularly with business partners and technical teams to ensure transparency, alignment, and shared understanding.

Contribute to process improvements and operational documentation, including standard operating procedures and job aids.

Minimum Requirements:

SME in Medicaid and DSNP Claims domain

Experience capturing business and technical requirements in a healthcare setting.

Working knowledge of CSP Facets (front-end and back-end functionality).

Proven ability to lead initiatives from concept through implementation.

Understanding of Agile methodology and experience working in a Scrum environment.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience writing standard operating procedures or job aids in a claims environment.

Prior experience with healthcare payer systems or government programs (Medicaid/Medicare).

Strong communication and analytical skills with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
