Here at Griffin’s snacks, we’re part of the Intersnack Group, a global snack food leader operating in over 30 countries. However, whilst internationally owned, we manufacture locally and proudly produce some of New Zealand’s favourite snack brands - including Snackachangi, ETA, Proper Crisps, Griffin’s, Huntley \& Palmers, Mexicano and Nice \& Natural.

With one of our team members embarking on travel adventures, we’re excited to recruit a proactive, self-driven and motivated sales star to join our team as a Key Account Executive – Foodstuffs North Island. Reporting to the Business Manager -Food Stuffs North Island and based at our Ellerslie Head Office, this fast paced highly commercial role, you’ll support the FSNI Business Manager to deliver profitable regional growth for the business.

You’ll take ownership of Promax, manage and analyse the trade spend invoicing process, and play an active role in overseeing one or more product portfolios across key customer banners.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for:

Managing promotional and sales forecasting via our Promax system

Managing the Foodstuffs NI Promotional Portal

NPD launch forecasting

Achieving agreed trade spend targets and maximising pricing through effective implementation of the pricing strategy.

Building strong professional relationships with internal and external customers

Supporting with the development and delivery of FSNI business plans

Evaluating Promotional Strategy effectiveness and recommending changes to improve profit.

Managing the invoice process and approvals

Reporting and ROI analysis on agreed FSNI activity

What you’ll bring to the role?

2 - 3 years FMCG experience in Territory Management, Customer Marketing or Account Executive roles – an extra tick if you have experience working with Foodstuffs!

Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified, with commerce endorsements.

Excellent communication and relationship building skills – you get along with everyone and love to meet new people!

Strong negotiation and selling skills with a proven track record of delivering results (promotional forecasting experience would be a plus!)

An eye for detail and solid analytical skillset – you don’t miss a thing!

Eagerness to learn and grow your career with us.

An innovative mindset– you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo \& throw new ideas into the mix!

Accountability – you own your decisions and can be counted on to do what you say you will.

Positivity and a solutions-focused approach– nothing is ever a problem!

Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.

Knowledge of Promax, Foodstuffs Portal, BW, SAP and Aztec are not required but would be an advantage
