Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.
Job Summary
The job holder assists to oversee the product development plan that meets the retail strategy, also to achieve the sales budget/forecast. The job holder also oversees both Physical and Online Sales and Operations Management.
The Job
Assist to oversee the product development plan that meets the retail strategy
Create product sales strategies and execute the retail sales and promotion strategy to achieve the sales and profit targets and KPIs
Have strong numerical sense with analytical skills in budget, sales planning and inventory control
Perform market research to assess and develop new product proposals, oversee product, set pricing, and ensure products meet expectations
Work close with other team to ensure that products are given effective promotion attention
Produce products that will represent the Club's brand image and meet customer expectation for quality and function
Explore co-branding partnership opportunities with focus on designated target segments in order to drive racing interest and to showcase the sports and leisure aspects of horse racing
Ensure compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy (RGP) and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club's business
Undertake other duties as assigned by Line Manager
About You
At least 7 years of product development, marketing, merchandising and product management experience
Bachelor Degree preferably in Merchandize Management, Fashion, Business or equivalent
