Weâre hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to own, scale, and evolve the cloud infrastructure behind a fast-growing financial technology platform used by thousands of employees and businesses. This is a senior, hands-on DevOps role focused on reliability, automation, security, and operational excellence in a modern cloud environment.
Youâll join a small, highly autonomous DevOps team where ownership and impact are central to the role. Working closely with engineering, data, testing, and security teams, youâll help shape how infrastructure is built, deployed, monitored, and secured, while responding decisively when systems need attention.
What Youâll Do
Own and scale cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security
Design and automate infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation or equivalent)
Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable deployments
Optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and availability
Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability to proactively detect and resolve issues
Design and maintain secure, compliant cloud services with a strong focus on security best practices
Evaluate and remediate critical and high-severity vulnerabilities across services as needed
Collaborate cross-functionally with development, data, testing, and security teams to improve deployment workflows and system reliability
Apply DevOps best practices consistently, bringing thoughtful improvements to how systems are built and operated
What Youâll Bring
5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering (AWS or GCP)
3+ years of experience working with a high-level programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Ruby)
Working knowledge of Bash and SQL
Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure using CloudFormation or similar IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
Experience with containerized workloads and cloud-native services (e.g., ECS/Fargate or equivalent)
Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
Strong ability to troubleshoot production issues using logging and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Athena, or equivalents)
Comfortable working in a small team environment that requires autonomy, adaptability, and self-direction
Bonus Points
Experience migrating workloads between CPU architectures (e.g., Intel to ARM)
Familiarity with Ruby on Rails environments (not required)
Experience operating systems in regulated or compliance-driven environments
Background supporting disaster recovery initiatives or large-scale environment migrations
