The Opportunity:
Weâre looking for someone whoâs great with people, calm under pressure, and curious about the world of precious metals. This is a part-time role (25â30 hours a week) based in our East Perth shop, and itâs a chance to be part of a team that helps customers trade bullion and sell unwanted gold jewellery - with care, clarity, and confidence.
Youâll be the friendly face behind the counter, guiding customers through a process thatâs equal parts technical and personal. One moment youâre testing the purity of a gold ring, the next youâre helping someone finalise a bullion contract or answering questions about our investment platforms. Youâll be working in a highly regulated space, so attention to detail is key â but, so is empathy, especially when conversations get complex.
Youâll help people make informed decisions, feel safe in the process, and walk away knowing theyâve been looked after. If you enjoy variety, love learning, and want to work somewhere that values integrity and connection - weâd love to meet you.
About You:
Youâre someone who knows how to read the room. Youâve got experience in customer service or sales, and you understand that every interaction is an opportunity to build trust. Youâre confident, calm, and know how to make people feel heard - even when the conversation gets tricky.
Youâre across the details, from verifying ID and asking the right questions, to spotting patterns that might raise a red flag. Youâre comfortable using tools like XRF machines to test gold purity, and you take data security seriously - especially when handling sensitive customer information.
Youâre organised, collaborative, and happy to jump in wherever needed. Whether itâs checking daily purchases, updating records, or helping with Click \& Collect orders, you know how to keep things moving while keeping standards high. Youâre curious about our products, keen to learn, and always looking for ways to help others understand what we do.
If youâre someone who brings integrity, empathy, and a steady hand to every shift â and, youâre looking for a role thatâs as rewarding as it is unique, weâd love to welcome you to the team.
