This is a senior-level engineering role focused on designing and delivering trading functionality that integrates into a large-scale, enterprise wealth platform. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, product leaders, and trading domain specialists on a high-profile, strategic initiative.
What you’ll be doing
Designing, building, and maintaining scalable Java-based solutions for trading and wealth workflows
Working across the stack using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and relational databases
Collaborating with product, UX, and trading domain experts to deliver new platform capabilities
Contributing to architecture decisions, code quality, and engineering best practices
Supporting a modern DevOps environment using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
What we’re looking for
7+ years of software engineering experience
Strong hands-on expertise with Java, Spring, Hibernate
Solid experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and scripting (Bash / Python / PowerShell)
Experience building complex systems in financial services, fintech, or regulated environments
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Highly regarded (but not essential)
Experience with trading systems, order management, or trade lifecycle concepts
Background in wealth management or capital markets technology
Cloud database experience (AWS RDS, Azure SQL)
