About the Role:

As a Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing and delivering data and analytics programs that support business transformation. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to define data needs, design robust data models, and build pipelines that enable actionable insights across the organisation.

What You’ll Do:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document data requirements

Ensure data solutions align with architectural principles and target state

Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Notebooks, and

Microsoft Fabric

Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for analytics and BI

Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the data lifecycle

Create impactful Power BI dashboards and reports to communicate KPIs, trends, and insights

What You Bring:

3+ years’ recent experience as an Azure Data Engineer

2+ years’ hands-on experience with Power BI for business intelligence reporting

Strong expertise in

Microsoft Azure data ecosystem, Microsoft Fabri

c, and data governance

Proficiency in PySpark and Spark SQL (Scala, R desirable)

Experience in the utilities sector highly regarded

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills—able to inspire, collaborate, and manage expectations at all levels
