Join our team as a Barback

The Role

As a Barback, you will:

Support the bar team in delivering seamless and efficient service.

Prepare and restock bar stations with ice, glassware, garnishes, and spirits.

Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the bar throughout service.

Assist with deliveries, stock rotation, and cellar management.

Collect and polish glassware to ensure bar readiness at all times.

Work closely with bartenders and managers to anticipate needs during busy periods.

The Twenty Two is a luxury lifestyle hotel located on London’s historic Grosvenor Square. Our property, set within a listed Edwardian manor, combines cultural elegance with modern charm. We offer an all-day public restaurant and a private members’ club with 31 bedrooms and suites.

About You

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about excellence and culture.

You will have:

Some experience in hospitality or F\&B environments (preferred, not essential).

A proactive and reliable work ethic.

A strong team-focused attitude and willingness to learn.

Good organisation skills and attention to detail.

Physical stamina to manage stock, deliveries, and fast-paced shifts.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late nights.

Key Responsibilities

Restock and organise bar stations before, during, and after service.

Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating deliveries.

Maintain bar cleanliness, including floors, counters, and back-of-house areas.

Support bartenders with ice, garnishes, glassware, and product prep.

Collect empty glassware and return polished items to service.

Follow all health, hygiene, and safety protocols.

Holiday entitlement increases: 2 days at 2 years’ length of service, and a further 3 days at 5 years’ length of service, prorated to your contract hours

Long service award schemes: 5 years (Silver Status, Meal in the Restaurant, TTT embroidered Bathrobe), 10 years (Gold Status, a stay in our sister property with flights with partner), 15 years (Platinum Status – watch this space)
