You will join a small, agile team of a solution architect, a UX/UI designer, a backend-focused full-stack developer, and AI/ML researchers, working in close collaboration to bring breakthrough computer vision models to market. Together, we are building the tools that will help transport professionals across Australia and overseas make smarter, safer, and more sustainable decisions.
About The Opportunity
You will be responsible for the frontend experience of the RSA platform, creating a responsive, accessible, and elegant interface that makes advanced AI feel simple and intuitive.
Working closely with a UX/UI designer, backend developer, and AI/ML researchers, you’ll design interactive visualisations that allow users to move seamlessly between high-level overviews and detailed drilldowns, while ensuring dashboards, inputs, and workflows are intuitive and easy to use.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the usability of a nationally significant platform, turning technical outputs into insights that improve road safety, traffic flow, and planning decisions.
About You
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of professional experience building modern, responsive frontends for SaaS or data-driven platforms.
Experience consuming REST APIs and managing state (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil).
Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code, with testing practices (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile workflows.
