We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to design, plan, and oversee the implementation of end-to-end technology solutions across web, cloud, and digital platforms.
This role ensures projects are not only technically sound but also strategically aligned with client and business goals.
While the position is broad, spanning systems integration, cloud architecture, and enterprise design, you will also play a key role in shaping how emerging technologies, particularly AI and automation are integrated into business workflows to deliver measurable value.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako \| Skills and experience
5+ years’ experience in Solutions Architecture or related technical leadership roles. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern application architecture. Knowledge of AI/ML concepts (LLMs, automation, natural language processing) is a plus. Familiarity with DevOps/MLOps, APIs, and microservices. Proven ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders. Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.

Solution Design \& Architecture
Architect scalable and secure solutions for websites, applications, and cloud platforms. Seamlessly integrate diverse technologies—including databases, APIs, and third-party platforms—into unified systems. Design and validate AI and automation use cases, ensuring alignment with overall system architecture.
Technology Strategy, Road mapping \& Delivery
Interpret business requirements and translate them into comprehensive technical strategies and solution architectures. Assess emerging technologies—including AI, cloud-native services, and security tools—for potential integration and adoption. Advise leadership and clients on optimal technology directions and strategic decisions. Supervise end-to-end solution delivery, from proof-of-concept through to full-scale production deployment. Collaborate closely with developers, engineers, and data professionals to effectively implement technological solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement \& Best Practices
Bridge technical teams and business stakeholders. Lead client discovery and scoping sessions. Explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Set architecture, security, and compliance standards. Document solution frameworks and best practices. Advocate for data privacy and ethical AI use.
Utu ā-tau \| Salary
$139,900 - $154,000 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
