We’re looking for a
Senior Frontend Engineer
to help drive the next generation of product development within a modern engineering environment. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise in JavaScript with strong architectural thinking and a passion for delivering clean, high-performance user interfaces.
The Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll take ownership of frontend initiatives from concept to production. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly applications used by thousands of users daily.
You’re not just coding features — you’ll have a voice in technology decisions, performance improvements, developer experience, and long-term technical strategy.
What You’ll Work On
Building new UI components and features using modern JavaScript and TypeScript
Developing scalable frontend architecture with React (or similar modern framework)
Improving performance, accessibility, and maintainability of existing codebases
Contributing to internal UI libraries, design systems, and reusable components
Writing automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end)
Collaborating on technical planning, estimates, and code reviews
Tech Stack
JavaScript (ES6+) \& TypeScript
React
(preferred), or Vue / Angular
State management (Redux, Zustand, MobX, Vuex)
REST + GraphQL
Testing (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar)
What We’re Looking For
5+ years professional frontend experience
Proven track record building production applications in JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience working on large codebases and complex UI systems
Based in Amsterdam (or close enough for occasional onsites)
Fluent in Dutch and English (preferred)
