Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer – Web to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, user-centric web and mobile applications with strong emphasis on modern front-end experiences and robust back-end systems. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in JavaScript-based frameworks, UI/UX design principles, API-driven architectures, and cloud-native development.
You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle—translating user needs and research into intuitive interfaces, building secure and performant services, and deploying applications through automated CI/CD pipelines. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, containerization, and modern database technologies is essential to success in this role.
Duties
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web and mobile applications using modern frameworks such as React.js, React Native, Angular, Vue.js, Ruby on Rails, Express, and .NET, following MVC and OOP principles.
Build user-facing features with a strong focus on accessible, adaptive, and responsive UI/UX design, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsive mobile experiences.
Lead front-end component design and implementation, including reusable component libraries, UI design systems, CSS animations, and interaction patterns.
Conduct wireframing, UI prototyping, information architecture planning, and user research to inform visual and interaction design decisions.
Implement and maintain RESTful APIs to support seamless communication between front-end, mobile, and back-end systems.
Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, incorporating unit testing (high priority) to ensure reliability, maintainability, and rapid iteration.
Deploy and manage applications using Docker and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and Supabase, supporting scalable and secure infrastructure.
Work with relational and non-relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and performance.
Maintain and enhance existing systems across Linux and Windows environments, optimizing for performance, scalability, and security.
Apply security best practices, including RBAC, to protect user data and system resources.
Utilize version control systems such as GitHub and SVN, maintaining clean, well-documented, and testable codebases.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Full Stack Web Developer with a strong portfolio demonstrating production-ready applications and user-focused design.
Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (high priority), TypeScript (high priority), React.js (high priority), and React Native (high priority) for building modern web and mobile interfaces.
Strong knowledge of responsive, adaptive, and accessible UI/UX design, including visual design, interaction design, and usability best practices.
Experience with UI design systems, wireframing, prototyping, and visual UI/UX design, supported by user research methodologies.
Solid back-end development experience using Ruby on Rails, .NET, C#, Java, Python, or C++, with a strong grasp of REST architecture.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and containerized development using Docker.
Proficiency working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and MongoDB.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies using AWS, Azure, and Supabase.
Experience working in Agile environments, delivering iterative, high-quality software solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
Additional expertise in application security, advanced UI/UX research, or emerging technologies is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.89 - $43.22 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
