This position within the Biologics and Chemicals Division will lead Product Management for the Protein Production vertical within the Cell Culture global business. Driving day-to-day product management functionality, product development and conception, and commercial engagements. This requires broad knowledge of business functions and how to harness the teams to drive coherent actions to implement strategy and optimize the P\&L performance. This role is onsite and can be located at one of these locations: Grand Island.

How You Will Make an Impact

Business Leadership: Lead processes such as developing and implementing the product roadmap, positioning to improve top and bottom-line profitability growth aligned with strategic and annual planning.

Drive Customer Engagements and Commercial: Ensure business unit strategy adoption, segment share growth, and long-term customer happiness.

Product Management Leadership: From concept to commercialization, running the life cycle of the portfolio. Responsible for five-year product line strategy, list pricing and margin optimization, management across the customer value continuum, and customer intimacy efforts.

Drive Execution Across Cross-Functional Teams: Work with premier R\&D, operations, supply chain, marketing, finance, and commercial teams to assure critical business metrics are met.

Devise and Implement Interpersonal Strategies: Position the business for growth and scale, develop relevant cases, and recommend required investments to drive balanced growth.

Define Innovation Strategy and Lead Implementation: Including product roadmap, pricing, positioning, natural growth, successful new product launches, and improve business growth by crafting effective licensing and partnership plans to bridge gaps and boost the current product lineup.

Build and Lead an Impactful Team: Hire, engage, and develop passionate, motivated employees. Develop talent to adopt change and new insights.

How You Get Here

Education:

Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA preferred

Experience:

10+ years of life sciences experience required; bioprocessing experience related to protein production in mammalian systems highly preferred

5+ years of product management experience or equivalent

5+ years of sales/commercial experience

5+ years of people management experience; leading large teams

Previous experience handling a large and complex portfolio; experience leading broad and complementary teams within a highly matrixed environment is a requirement

Experience developing materials for, and working with, executives in a fast-paced environment

Experience completing multi-year strategies and achieving results

Experience driving global business and commercial operations with a strong background of driving programs with a focus on financial results

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $160,100.00–$225,000.00.
