About This Role
We are hiring on behalf of our client as they continue to expand and strengthen their cloud infrastructure and platform security capabilities. This role focuses on integrating security practices directly into the development and operations lifecycle to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure systems.
The DevSecOps Engineer will work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to design secure cloud environments, automate security controls within CI/CD pipelines, and strengthen platform security across containerized workloads and cloud infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building secure systems while improving developer experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement secure infrastructure primarily within cloud environments using Kubernetes-based platforms
Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure, automated deployments
Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code practices (Terraform or similar tools)
Implement container security standards and best practices across Kubernetes workloads
Manage secrets, identity, and access controls across cloud environments
Develop automation and tooling that improves security visibility and reduces operational risk
Work with engineering teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across infrastructure and application environments
Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting to strengthen security posture and incident response capabilities
Support security reviews, threat modeling, and compliance initiatives across cloud platforms
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
Strong experience working with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure also acceptable)
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or similar tools
Strong scripting or programming experience (Python, Go, or similar languages)
Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and containerized applications
Familiarity with secrets management, IAM design, and cloud security best practices
Understanding of microservices architectures and container-based development workflows
Strong documentation and communication skills when working across engineering teams
