Project context
The Engineer designs and delivers small to medium-sized features end-to-end using the existing frameworks and solution building blocks. They maintain and improve current systems within their domain, apply engineering standards, and contribute to the reliability, security and performance of platform components. The role requires strong autonomy, technical ownership and collaboration with peers within the Risk \& CIM department (Credit Risk Data Management \& Reporting).
Goals and deliverables
Design, develop and test small/medium features within the existing architecture.
Maintain and enhance existing systems and tools in the domain. A
pply engineering standards (performance, security, reusability, scalability, sustainability, DevSecOps).
Identify infrastructure needs and ensure proper monitoring, availability checks and documentation.
Take into account run requirements (capacity estimation, infrastructure architecture, performance).
Participate in incident handling and on-duty rotations when required. Support and coach team members, promote teamwork and enforce team processes.
Investigate root causes, fix bugs and proactively propose improvements.
Contribute with a growth mindset: curiosity, innovation, problem-solving and attention to detail.
Expected skills
Experience with run aspects: monitoring, performance follow-up, infrastructure understanding.
Knowledge of Synapse
Unix / Linux / Windows (PowerShell / batch)
Oracle \& PL/SQL expertise (5 years – Senior)
Problem-solving \& incident analysis
DevSecOps experience (5 years – Medior)
