About This Vacancy
As a Senior Python Developer:
You design, develop, and maintain Python applications for embedded systems, ensuring that software solutions meet performance and reliability needs.
You work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate software within hardware environments, contributing to the full lifecycle from initial concept to deployment.
You develop unit tests, automated testing suites, and in-system tests to guarantee high performance, reliability, and robustness of the embedded software.
You document software architecture, code, and testing results to facilitate team flexibility and streamline future maintenance and upgrades.
You apply best practices in software development methodologies, standards, and frameworks for embedded systems, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.
You analyze and resolve software bugs, continuously improving code to enhance system performance and the user experience.
What We Expect From You
You hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Python development, with at least 3 years focused on embedded software projects.
You have in-depth knowledge of Python and are skilled in embedded development, with experience in environments such as microcontrollers, Linux-based embedded systems, or RTOS.
You are familiar with C/C++ and have a strong understanding of hardware-software interaction.
You have excellent communication skills in English (French or Dutch proficiency is a plus).
