Role Purpose
The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for supporting business growth through proactive account management, inbound and outbound Telesales activity, and digital engagement. The role focuses on developing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and driving revenue through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Generate incremental sales and increase customer loyalty to drive product growth.
Manage and develop existing customer accounts to maximise revenue and margin.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
Evaluate and pursue cross-sell and up-sell opportunities at every customer interaction.
Promote and sell cost-effective solutions to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
Identify and promote own-brand product opportunities.
Implement activity plans to meet and exceed revenue and gross profit targets.
Proactively follow up on quotations and sales opportunities to close business.
Present account strategies and performance updates to management on a monthly basis.
Deliver excellent, professional, and friendly customer service at all times.
Support and execute sales activities linked to marketing campaigns.
Generate new leads and acquire new customers to grow sales.
Re-engage inactive or former customers to renew business relationships.
Effectively handle objections to secure customer commitment and future engagement.
Promote and communicate the company value proposition and value-added services.
Maintain accurate customer records and activity tracking within relevant systems.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management.

Essential Experience \& Knowledge
Proven experience in a target-driven sales environment.
Strong ability to build relationships and conduct meaningful sales conversations by phone.
Commercial awareness with strong business acumen.
Relevant product or industry knowledge (e.g. industrial products).
Strong digital mindset with experience using CRM and sales tools.
Technically proficient and comfortable with multiple business systems.
