Job Description
Role Summary
As a Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across TOPdesk by delivering trusted insights stakeholders can rely on and ensuring data quality. You will analyze complex datasets, create impactful visualizations, and provide recommendations that influence key business decisions and long-term strategy. You’ll work closely with colleagues in IT and across the business to ensure stakeholders have access to accurate, accessible, and actionable data.
Your job
Analyze, create and manage datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities
Build and maintain dashboards and reports that clearly visualize key metrics and performance indicators
Work closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other key departments to turn challenges into clear, data-backed solutions and foundational datasets
Collaborate with Data Engineering, Business Applications, and other IT teams to understand the data journey and ensure seamless, governed data flows from source to end-user
Carry out on-the-spot analyses to quickly solve important business questions
Ensure data quality through governance and validation practices, while maintaining awareness of relevant data privacy regulations
Identify and refine key performance metrics that drive strategic decisions
Explore and adopt new tools, methods, and trends in data analytics to continuously improve capabilities
Qualifications
Your profile
Education \& Experience
Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, with demonstrated success in delivering insights that inform decisions
Technical Skills
Able to turn complex datasets into clear insights that drive confident business decisions
Proficiency in SQL and Python, or similar data analysis relevant languages
Experience with visualization tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
Knowledge of data governance, data privacy (such as GDPR), and practices for ensuring data quality
Soft Skills
Adaptable and solution-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Skilled at building collaborative relationships and understanding business processes
Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences
Takes initiative to identify gaps, owns the process of fixing them, and thrives with minimal supervision
Proactive in learning new tools and staying current with analytics trends
