Weâre on the lookout for a Deputy Branch Manager to help steer our Auckland branch to new heights. Youâll be second-in-command, leading a team of up to 250 crew members, mentoring department managers, and making sure every guest experience is smooth, safe, and unforgettable.

Key Responsibilities:
As Deputy Branch Manager, youâll play a pivotal role in leading daily operations and supporting the Branch Manager to deliver exceptional service and business performance. Your responsibilities include:
Overseeing branch operations across front-of-house, back-of-house, and fleet
Leading and mentoring department managers and crew to foster a high-performing, inclusive culture
Resolving guest issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a seamless experience
Monitoring financial performance and managing labour, product, and equipment costs
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and HR compliance across departments
Driving operational efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
Facilitating clear communication across teams and national stakeholders
Contributing to budgeting, reporting, and strategic planning
Championing health and safety standards and regulatory compliance
Leading change initiatives and promoting a future-focused mindset
Key Criteria:
To thrive in this role, youâll bring:
5+ yearsâ experience in rental operations, branch management, or a related field
Proven leadership skills with experience managing large, diverse teams
Strong commercial acumen and budget management capabilities
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of HR practices, employment law, and compliance
Experience driving operational improvements and leading change
Calm, adaptable approach with sound decision-making under pressure
A collaborative mindset and commitment to safety and service excellence
A passion for travel, people, and creating memorable experiences
