Your territory

As part of our Firmware team, you will:

Shape the future of embedded systems by developing cutting-edge firmware that powers innovative pet tech products used by millions around the world

Dive into the code to keep our products running at their best – spotting and fixing errors while optimizing key metrics like power efficiency, accuracy, and data volume for peak performance

Engage with cutting-edge technologies like GPS, Cellular, or BLE, establishing yourself as the go-to expert and innovator in your specialized area

Take end-to-end responsibility for feature development – bringing complex ideas to life and ensuring they work seamlessly in the field

Prepare class diagrams and work closely with our Architects to bring feature implementations to life

Team up with Backend, Tech Support, and QA to drive projects forward on your own, ensuring successful outcomes

Play an active role in retrospectives, offering fresh ideas to continually improve our team processes and workflows

Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”

Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level

Your profile

Key requirements:

5+ years of hands-on experience in firmware development, with strong expertise in embedded systems and C programming

Proficient in version control, Clean Code, and Unit Testing

Experienced in driving firmware projects within SCRUM and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Experience with GPS, Cellular, Wi-Fi, BLE technologies, or the Nordic platform is a plus

Excellent English skills

Valid work permit for Austria
