The Role
We're looking for experienced Cloud AI Engineers to design, build, and deploy production machine learning systems. You'll work with cutting-edge AI technologies, guide clients through complex technical challenges, and ensure successful onsite delivery of innovative solutions. This is a hands-on technical role where you'll combine deep ML expertise with consultative client engagement.
What You'll Do
Design and implement scalable machine learning systems in production environments
Develop and optimize data pipelines, recommendation engines, and distributed ML workflows
Provide technical consulting to clients across the EMEA region, translating business needs into technical solutions
Conduct technical reviews and lead onsite delivery engagements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect AI solutions using modern frameworks and platforms
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Proven experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence
Strong coding and scripting proficiency in Python, Perl, C, C++, or Java
Background in technical client service or consulting
Fluency in English and Spanish to engage with local stakeholders across EMEA
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of hands-on experience with recommendation engines, data pipelines, or distributed machine learning
Solid understanding of production ML system practicalities and challenges
Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost)
Knowledge of data warehousing architectures, ETL/ELT, and analytics platforms (Apache Beam, Hadoop, Spark, Hive)
Background in technical consulting
