Job Overview:
The Air Conditioning Product Manager will oversee the complete product lifecycle — from market research and concept definition to development, launch, and performance management. This role requires deep market understanding, strategic product planning, and effective collaboration across R\&D, sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure our air conditioning line remains competitive in a dynamic market environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Demand Analysis
Conduct comprehensive research on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to shape product strategies and business direction.
Gather customer feedback and analyze data to refine existing products and identify innovation opportunities.
Product Definition and Development
Define product features, specifications, and target segments based on market insights.
Collaborate closely with the R\&D team to drive new product development and ensure timely, high-quality product launches.
Oversee the full development cycle, including writing product requirement documents, building roadmaps, and managing iterations.
Product Launch and Marketing
Plan and execute go-to-market strategies, coordinating efforts with marketing, sales, and channel teams for successful product introductions.
Partner with marketing to design promotional campaigns that strengthen product visibility and brand positioning.
Product Lifecycle Management
Monitor market performance, analyze key data, and continuously optimize product strategies.
Manage product pricing, distribution channels, and promotional activities.
Work with after-sales and technical support teams to address product issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead project coordination among R\&D, sales, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives.
Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and external partners to guarantee alignment from development through market launch.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; international product management experience is an advantage.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in product management within the white goods or HVAC industry; experience in air conditioning preferred.
Professional fluency in English, with the ability to operate effectively in a global business environment.
Strong understanding of product development processes, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent market insight and analytical skills, capable of producing detailed product requirement and market analysis reports.
Strong communication, leadership, and coordination abilities, with a collaborative and results-driven mindset.
Innovative and strategic thinker, able to anticipate market shifts and adapt product strategies accordingly.
Highly organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
