WHAT YOU WILL DO

This role is for an experienced software engineer with a passion for solving complex problems. A strong foundation in mathematical techniques (e.g., statistics, optimization, AI) is a plus. Experience in clinical trial supply chain management is similarly valued but not essential.

, and work in a hybrid setup, combining the benefits of in-office collaboration (2-3 days per week) with the flexibility of remote work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Trialzen, your work will span multiple areas of our product development. You will:

Develop backend business and application logic to support our forecasting and optimization solution.

Design and implement performant mathematical and AI-driven solutions to complex problems, keeping them intuitive for end-users.

Create seamless data interfaces for front-ends, application components, and external systems (e.g., REST APIs).

Build user-friendly, visually appealing front-end elements and dashboards.

Develop clear and impactful data visualizations to support decision-making.

Ensure your code is well-tested, secure, and follows best practices.

Collaborate closely with the engineering team to align on architecture, design decisions, and best practices.

Work with DevOps to ensure application reliability and data security.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

A Master’s or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field emphasizing programming, and problem-solving.

At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer

Strong self-drive and eagerness to learn. You excel at communication and are comfortable working in English.

A problem-solving mindset with a focus on understanding the "why" behind what you’re building and delivering the best experience for end-users.

BONUS POINTS

Experience in clinical supply chain management, especially forecasting.

Familiarity with mathematical and AI-driven approaches, such as simulation, optimization, machine learning, LLMs etc.

Proficiency with Python, including object-oriented programming and libraries for mathematics or data analysis.

Experience with Django or an ORM.

Knowledge of REST APIs, including serialization, authentication, authorization, and URL mapping.

Experience building modern Single Page Applications (e.g., React.js)

A strong eye for UI/UX design, particularly for complex data models.

Familiarity with CI/CD, version control systems, and productivity tools (e.g., JIRA).

Experience working in agile development environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
