We have teamed up with a global business expanding its engineering presence in NZ. With significant investment in innovation and product capability, they are expanding their engineering team. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer ready to take the next leap forward.

The Role: Senior Software Engineer

You will work within a collaborative, cross-functional squad, delivering secure, scalable, and elegant software solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to influence design decisions, impact development practices, and uplift the work of those around you, all while continuing to improve your own skills.

What You’ll Bring

Over 5 years of software engineering experience, preferably in cloud-native or SaaS environments

A passion for writing clean, scalable code and a collaborative mindset

Experience in contributing to system architecture and design discussions

Familiarity with DevSecOps, test-driven development, and modern engineering practices

Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (especially AWS) and building high-performance, resilient systems

A natural curiosity and a willingness to mentor, pair, or share knowledge to uplift the team

The Tech Stack

Modern backend languages (e.g. TypeScript, .NET, Node.js)

Front-end frameworks (React, React Native, Angular)

Cloud-native development on AWS with a serverless-first approach

Microservices and event-driven architecture

Infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)

Strong focus on observability, automated testing, and performance
