The Role: Technical Lead - Software Engineering
Youâll be the anchor for one (or two) agile squads - shaping technical strategy, writing clean, scalable code, and mentoring some genuinely talented engineers. Youâll set the tone and pace for delivery, while also creating space for growth and innovation.

And yes, youâll still be coding. This isnât about stepping back from the craftâitâs about doubling down on the impact you can make.
What Youâll Bring
7+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in SaaS or cloud-native environments
A proven track record of technical leadership and you'll know how to elevate others through mentoring, coaching, and shared problem-solving
Experience improving engineering culture and delivery practices, including DevSecOps, automated testing, and test-driven development
Deep understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure, especially AWS and how to build scalable, secure, cost-efficient systems
Proficiency in systems and software design, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clean, maintainable code

Modern backend languages (e.g. TypeScript, .NET, Node.js)
Front-end frameworks (React, React Native, Angular)
Cloud-native development on AWS with a serverless-first approach
Microservices and event-driven architecture
Infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
Strong focus on observability, automated testing, and performance
Ways Youâll Add Value
Use your deep technical expertise to uplift others - through mentoring, pair programming, and architectural guidance
Promote best practices in automated testing and test-driven development to drive quality and reduce rework
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver pragmatic, future-fit solutions
