Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Developer to join our development team to build and maintain our government focused ERP solution. This role is perfect for a recent university graduate looking to gain hands-on experience with legacy and cutting-edge Microsoft technologies while contributing to enterprise-level software solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop responsive web user interfaces using Blazor Server and/or Blazor WebAssembly frameworks
Write and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database views to support application functionality
Create and maintain desktop applications (WinForms) following established design patterns
Implement data binding and user interaction logic to connect front-end forms with backend services
Collaborate with senior developers to achieve product outcomes
Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability
Debug and troubleshoot application issues across the full stack
Document code, technical processes, and user interface specifications
Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and daily standups
Assist in deployment activities and version control management using Git
Stay current with .NET ecosystem updates and best practices for web development
Leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate development and problem-solving
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Familiarity with SQL Server and T-SQL query writing and stored procedures
Solid understanding of .NET programming languages (VB.NET, C#) and object-oriented programming principles
Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript fundamentals
Understanding of data modelling, relational database concepts and normalized data structures
Experience with Visual Studio development environments
Knowledge of Accounting, Payroll, and Billing concepts
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Proficiency in prompt engineering and working with agentic AI coding assistants
Ability to effectively communicate technical requirements and debug AI-generated code
Skills in iterative prompt refinement to achieve desired coding outcomes

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
