Role and Responsibilities
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will design, develop and manage automated testing frameworks that safeguard the quality and reliability of our software products. Your key responsibilities will include:
Building and maintaining automated test suites using TestIM
Designing and executing API tests with Postman
Integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
Logging and tracking bugs using JIRA
Documenting and updating test documentation in Confluence
Enhancing and optimizing test frameworks using C# or Python
Collaborating cross-functionally with Product and Development teams in Agile environments
Required Skills \& Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
2+ years of hands-on QA automation experience
Proven track record of building or maintaining automation frameworks from scratch
Proven ability to optimize and scale automation suites—handling test stability, parallel execution, distributed execution, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Clear communication—able to explain technical issues to developers, QA peers, and business stakeholders
Proficiency with Tricentis Test management, TestIM automation and Jira
Practical experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps)
Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python
Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices
Experience testing web, mobile, and cloud-based applications
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with strong critical thinking skills
Adaptability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
Nice to Have:
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., Dotcom Monitor)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google cloud)
