Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Performance Test Consultant to join our Performance Engineering team at Tritusa. As a key member, you will leverage design, execute, and analyse performance tests, ensuring our clients’ applications are scalable, reliable, and optimised for high-traffic environments. You will collaborate with global clients, developers, and DevOps teams to identify performance bottlenecks, recommend optimisations, and deliver robust solutions. Your Role and Responsibilities
Design and execute performance tests to validate application performance under various scenarios, including load, stress, endurance, and spike conditions.
Develop comprehensive performance test plans, scenarios, and cases to ensure thorough coverage of performance requirements.
Analyse performance metrics (e.g., response time, throughput, resource utilisation) to identify bottlenecks in application, database, or infrastructure components.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and operations teams to recommend and implement performance optimisations.
Create performance test data – via scripts, SQL, GUI automation
Proficiency in NeoLoad’s scripting, test design, and reporting features, including NeoLoad Web, NeoLoad as Code, and cloud-based load generation.
Integrate performance testing into continuous integration and delivery processes to support agile development cycles.
Conduct performance testing for APIs and backend services to ensure compliance with performance service-level agreements (SLAs).
Leverage cloud or on-premises environments to simulate real-world user traffic and high-concurrency scenarios.
Generate detailed performance reports and present findings to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and risk mitigation strategies.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in performance testing to enhance testing methodologies.
Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of performance engineering excellence.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for candidates with a combination of the following:
3–7 years of experience in performance testing or performance engineering, with a proven track record of optimising system performance.
Strong understanding of system architecture, including web servers, databases, and infrastructure components.
Expertise in at least two performance test tools. Preferably, NeoLoad, Micro Focus, LoadRunner, Performance Centre and JMeter
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages relevant to performance test development and data analysis.
Experience integrating performance tests into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Familiarity with monitoring and profiling techniques to analyse system performance in real time.
Knowledge of agile and DevOps methodologies, with experience in fast-paced, iterative environments.
Certifications such as Neo Load Certified Professional, ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex performance data and identify root causes of issues.
Strong communication skills to articulate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Conducted large-scale performance tests, enabling systems to handle high-concurrency scenarios without downtime.
