We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with a primary focus on front-end
development to create modern, user-friendly interfaces while collaborating on back-end
tasks as needed.
This role requires expertise in React, TypeScript, and Git, along with a
willingness to work in a hybrid oDice environment in Mexico City (Polanco).
In the short-term, this role will be heavily involved in implementing and integrating a
headless CMS (Contentful), working closely with UX and Marketing teams.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior headless CMS experience, but strong core skills that enable CMS implementation are required.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain user-facing features using React and TypeScript.
Ensure UI/UX consistency, responsiveness, and accessibility.
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and data models.
Contribute to back-end tasks using Springboot and Java 17/21 when required.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality solutions.
Implement, configure, and extend a headless CMS platform to support business
needs.
Work closely with UX and Marketing stakeholders to translate business and content
requirements into scalable CMS-driven solutions.
Build and maintain CMS integrations via REST APIs, webhooks, and related tools.
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and front-end development principles.
Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Familiarity with back-end frameworks like Springboot and programming in Java.
Experience with version control using Git.
Ability to design and implement content models, workflows, and integrations within
a headless CMS environment.
Experience working with REST APIs for content delivery and system integrations.
Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with UX, Marketing, and
Product teams on CMS-related initiatives.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Postgres and containerization tools like Kubernetes.
Prior hands-on experience with Contentful or another enterprise-level headless
CMS platform.
Familiarity with content personalization, multi-language support, and other
advanced CMS capabilities.
Experience:
4+ years of professional experience, preferably including:
o 2+ years in a large corporate environment.
o 2+ years in a startup environment.
Hybrid Work Environment:
First 90 days: 5 days per week in-oDice.
After 90 days: 3 days per week in-oDice.
Location: Mexico City (Polanco). Remote work is not available.
Education:
A 4-year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related experience.
