The Why

As a Data Engineer you will be a key part of the Data \& Analytics (D\&A) Engineering Team supporting D\&A colleagues in driving business value, building data modelling patterns, contributing to engineering best practices, and support in automating governance and discoverabilit

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering with Python, dbt, SQL and Serverless Databricks in a cloud environment

Data Modelling with Third Normal Form and Kimball as an expert individual contributor

Document enterprise-level Data Modelling Standards to support domain-based reusability.

Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Your Experience

Experience in 3NF and Kimball data modelling.

Good communication skills with a passion for helping people.

Self-motivated with a passion for high performance.

At least 3 years of practical experience in developing and deploying complex data sets and pipelines, preferably in financial services.

Expertise in data preparation, transformation, and modelling techniques.

Knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

Previous work experience with the Databricks platform (highly desirable) or similar environments such as BigQuery and Snowflake
