We are humble teachers, technically mentoring a team of talented engineers while also executing on delivering uniquely ambitious projects! As a Software Engineer on the Engineering team in Brazil, you will be an member of Uber's development center in LATAM, developing products across Uber and all around the World.
Consumer Merchandising team
- Uber started by transporting people from place to place. It now transports nearly anything a customer could want or need, on-demand. Grocery \& Retail is one of the largest growth bets for Uber, bringing on-demand grocery delivery to customers of Uber Eats around the world.
You would be joining an exciting engineering team on Uber Grocery, focused on building the best-in-class customer experience. Our team is responsible for building the end-to-end Grocery shopping experience that enables our customers to discover and shop for the merchants and items that they know and love.
Storefront team -
which focuses on providing delightful shopping experiences for consumers and helping them discover items within the Grocery \& Retail storefront.
Social and User-Generated Content team
- is looking for a motivated and passionate product engineer to help make our app more social. We're looking to create product experiences for creators to enable them to create great content that can be showcased throughout the whole app. We're also building communities of foodies to help people make decisions based on social signals and discussing what's hot in their neighborhood. Some projects that the team has launched in the past are video flows for ordering food and restaurant/item lists that were made by influencers and regular Uber Eats users. There's a lot of brand new work we're doing to create immersive experiences

What You Will Do
Writes high-quality code (i.e., reliable, readable, efficient, testable), provides quality code reviews, and creates comprehensive tests and quality documentation using software engineering principles.
Participates in on-call rotations and follows best practices to troubleshoot production incidents with some guidance.
Monitors product quality in the production environment, identifying, triaging and fixing bugs and inefficiencies.
*Basic qualifications :*
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, programming and associated programming languages and frameworks. (e.g. C, C++, Java, Python or Golang)
Advanced English.
Recent bachelor graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field concluded from September/2024 to December/2025.
Preferred qualifications:
