Your role
Are you an experienced Initiative Manager with a track record of delivering the objectives of large scale, complex initiatives? Do you enjoy managing the day-to-day progress of multiple inter-linked activities?
We are looking for an Initiative Manager to lead the overall integration of CS LatAM with a key focus on bringing the Brazil tech stack into UBS who can help us:
support the integration of technology solutions providing an expanded UBS product offering
develop plans and ensure progress towards refactoring of applications to UBS Tech Standards, rebranding and integration of core systems into single platform, along with rewiring and standardizing applications to consume bank services as opposed to stand-alone
ensure decommissioning assessments are performed with monitoring of decommissioning and timely application retirement
manage aspects of large scale, high complex initiatives, which includes planning, execution, timing, quality, client satisfaction, and early identification of potential issues
identify and manage business leaders and clients, evaluate their interests, and establish effective communication channels ensuring effective management and engagement
coordinate the tasks of the initiative among different divisions, streams, crews of different streams, and vendors
help resolve cross-stream conflicts and dependencies, align with stream/crew leads and facilitate reprioritization efforts
perform risk assessment, play an active role in risk mitigation and management, and maintain and monitor a risk management plan

Your team
You will be working as part of the Latin America (LatAM) and Canada platform technology team that manages technology for all UBS Latin American countries and Canada with a significant focus on the Brazil market.
You will be working in the Group Technology team in Sao Paulo at Ave Faria Lima, based in Brazil. We work in the hybrid model.
Your expertise
at least 8+ years project/initiative management experience, ideally within the finance sector
strategic thinker and excellent communicator, able to coach, lead and convince
proven success managing large scale technical delivery of solutions in agile teams
able to manage a wide set of objectives with conflicting priorities that require effective organization of resources across functions, business, and time zones
a decisive and innovative individual willing to suggest alternative options, able to adopt a flexible and adaptable approach and focused on timely resolution to problems
fluent in Portuguese and English
availability for frequent travel
