Your role
We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering teams to optimize, implement, and maintain our Azure infrastructure. Your contributions will be pivotal in ensuring the stability, security and efficiency of our cloud environments.
This is a senior engineering appointment, as such you’ll play a key role in improving the architecture of our infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
operational Stability: Ensure the operational stability, through modern observability and alerting, of the crew’s cloud environments, from engineering through to production
design \& Development: Design, develop, maintain, and optimize the use of our Azure Services
cost Optimization: Through observability continuously monitor and drive cost optimization initiatives to ensure efficient use of cloud resources
security \& Compliance: Implement and manage security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and ensure compliance with relevant standards
collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions into broader IT strategy and operations
innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our cloud infrastructure

We work in a very collaborative manner with the various software engineering teams to drive technology advancements across the entire crew, within the DevOps and infrastructure space. Leveraging the latest cloud technology, we continuously enhance infrastructure and DevOps pipelines to create an outstanding path for continuous delivery for the crew.
You’ll be working in the Wealth Management Trade and Transfer Assets stream, as part of the Technology division in Switzerland. You will be joining a smaller (5) team of strong engineers within the larger crew (75). We are engineering the next generation trading, order management systems and tools covering multiple asset classes across international locations.
The team has a flexible working model with daily standups. As we both support and drive development of the platform we run off a mix of scrum and kanban.

Your expertise
ideally in more than 10 years of experience in similar role, with hands-on experience or a strong interest in AKS, PostgreSQL Flex, Cosmos DB, and EventHub
experience with Terraform and/or Ansible: Extensive experience using Terraform and/or Ansible to manage critical infrastructure with high availability requirements
solid understanding of cloud security and networking concepts, terminology, and best practices
DevOps Culture: Experienced with CI/CD infrastructure pipelines, versioning, principals and best practices
experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
possess Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or other relevant certifications
