Role Summary
Lead delivery across AWS infrastructure, architecture, and DevOps engagements in a hands-on, client-facing role. Mentor mid-level engineers and ensure quality aligned with AWS best practices. Ideal for those who enjoy ownership, technical leadership, and modern cloud design.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical delivery of AWS infrastructure and solutions
Own architecture, implementation planning, and client leadership
Implement IaC, CI/CD pipelines, security, automation, and container platforms
Lead AWS Well-Architected Reviews and remediation
Mentor mid-level engineers and contribute reusable IP
Position AWS solutions involving data engineering or AI workloads
Must-Have Skills
3–5+ years AWS engineering/architecture experience
AWS Solutions Architect Pro or DevOps Pro certification
Strong client-facing communication and end-to-end technical leadership
Deep expertise in Terraform or AWS CDK, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CodePipeline), EKS/ECS/Kubernetes, VPC networking, IAM, security, automation, and cloud optimisation
Confident troubleshooting and problem-solving
Nice-to-Have Skills
Exposure to data engineering and AI workloads (data pipelines, analytics, AI automation)
Multi-account landing zones experience
Cloud migration experience
Cost optimisation, observability, and governance skills
Strong documentation discipline
Additional AWS certifications
