Internship Program and Assignments
Our internship and assignments are designed to increase your learning and industrial experience with real business and technology challenges taken from our WayMe product roadmap. Students will work directly on projects to build modules and features for the WayMe APP and platform. You would work together with our inhouse and remote development team.
Our students will support us to drive hiking safety and live-tracking in our app which combines advanced geofencing, off-route alerts, and real-time location sharing to protect hikers, runners, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Project Assignments (Selection)
Build a CHEATING CONTROL Module. A GPS based tool should compare the runner’s actual course taken against the planned and official route to identify short cuts. Detect and identify with basic logic and plausibilities irregular performance deviations. Create an API integration to our backend. Develop reports and organizer’s dashboard integration for the result documentation.
Build a Co-Pilot like access to interact with our hiking database for internal use. This should allow to query simple request against our user’s data and hiking results.
Develop Connected APPs. Integrate 3rd party APPs with WayMe so that data exchange is simple and user friendly. Pull data from e.g. Garmin to utilize in WayMe, like heart rate, gps location, etc. Push data to e.g. Garmin like finished routes and results.
Other assignments are about, organizer’s dashboard, reporting platform, data analytics, content management, ..
