As a Product Manager at UnderCurrent, you will own critical business outcomes and lead cross-functional teams to define, build, and scale important products and programs. Specifically, you will use a combination of vision, data, intuition, product sense, design, technical knowledge, and more to help bring more users into the DEX product and help with building post-using and retention. In this role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager, UX/UI team, and developer team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the entire lifecycle of the DEX (Decentralized Exchange) product, including planning, design, and iteration, to enhance user trading experience and platform usability.
Conduct in-depth research on user needs and market trends, analyze competitors, and identify innovation points and optimization directions for the web product.
Lead the design of web product features, including but not limited to trading interfaces (Swap, Limit Orders), liquidity management, data chart displays, wallet connections, and personal asset centers.
Write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and create interactive prototypes, collaborating closely with UI/UX designers to deliver smooth, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.
Work closely with front-end, back-end, and smart contract development teams to drive the development, testing, and launch of product features, ensuring product quality and delivery efficiency.
Monitor and analyze data for the web product post-launch (e.g., user behavior, conversion rates, feature usage), driving product optimization based on data insights.
Collect user feedback, continuously improve the web product, address user pain points, and enhance user satisfaction and retention.
Engage and manage the user community to gather insights, promote adoption, and strengthen product growth.
Stay updated on new technologies and protocols in the Web3 space, exploring their application opportunities within the DEX web product.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above, with 2–3 years of experience in web product management, including at least 1 year focused on DeFi or DEX products.
Strong grasp of decentralized exchange mechanics such as AMMs, order books, liquidity pools, staking, and cross-chain solutions.
Familiarity with leading DEX platforms (Uniswap, Sushiswap, PancakeSwap, Curve) and their user workflows.
Solid knowledge of product design processes, with hands-on experience using Figma, Axure, or similar tools for prototyping and documentation.
Skilled at user research and data-driven decision making, able to identify pain points and translate insights into actionable improvements.
Excellent communication, cross-team coordination, and problem-solving abilities, with resilience in a fast-paced environment.
Experience engaging and growing user communities to support adoption and strengthen product presence.
Proficient in English communication.
Nice to Have
Proven track record in taking a DEX product from concept to live operation (0→1).
Background in UI/UX design or strong collaboration experience with design teams.
