Senior DevOps Engineer, East Midlands, £60,000 - £75,000 DOE
We’re looking for a
Senior DevOps Engineer
to join one of our core engineering teams, supporting a
well-known, established brand
with platforms used at scale every day.
This role is hands-on and varied. You’ll be working closely with developers, testers, architects, and security teams to make sure our cloud environments are reliable, secure, and easy to work with.
What you’ll be doing
Automating cloud environments using
Terraform
Building and maintaining
Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (YAML)
Supporting and improving
Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
platforms
Embedding security and best practice into pipelines (
DevSecOps
)
Monitoring, troubleshooting and performance testing live systems
Helping development teams deliver quickly and safely
Mentoring junior DevOps engineers
Taking part in a supported
on-call rota
What we’re looking for
Solid DevOps experience in cloud environments
Strong
Azure
background (AWS or GCP experience is a plus)
Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
Git, PowerShell and Bash
Experience with modern application stacks (.NET, Node.js, React)
Monitoring and observability tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, OTel)
Good understanding of security, networking and microservices
