Finance Manager

We are seeking an ambitious finance professional to join our team in the role of Finance Manager. This is a hands-on role that combines supervision of a small, shared group finance team and working closely with all other departments and group companies.
This permanent, full-time role reports to the Finance Director and is based in our office in Clondalkin.
Key Responsibilities
· Proactively managing the finance workload to ensure all deadlines are met within month-end timetable.
· Management of two finance staff, including setting KPI’s, training and reviews.
· Supporting fellow team members in the day to day running of the finance department.
· Tax compliance; Bi-monthly VAT, monthly PAYE.
· Reconciliation of all bank and key balance sheet control accounts.
· Expense and credit card review.
· Reconciliation, review and verification of postings to Microsoft Business Central.
· Management of AP processes and preparation of payment runs.
· Reconciliation of electronic feeds for retail POS and ecommerce sales feeds.
· Monthly management accounts preparation for three companies.
· Year-end reconciliations and routines and liaise with annual external auditors.
· Preparation and processing of monthly salaries for three companies.
· Raising and prompt query resolution with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.
· Utilise IT to support automation of accounting processes.
Required Qualifications \& Experience
· An ambitious finance seeking to develop their career and qualifications.
· 5 years + industry experience
· Accounting Technician qualified or pursuing professional level qualification.
· Competent in ERP skills, Microsoft Navision, business central or similar
· Strong Excel user
