App Nouveau Canada Inc. is hiring a software developer to build logistics software that runs transportation operations day to day for our client. The work spans backend services, web frontend, mobile experiences, and emerging AI agent workflows.
You’ll work on a large C#/.NET 8 platform with domain-heavy logistics workflows across quotes, orders, tracking, assets, customers, rating, and EDI. On the frontend, we run a React SPA for dispatch and back-office workflows, and we also maintain React Native (Expo) applications for drivers and customers. We’re also investing in AI agents, so candidates with hands-on experience designing, shipping, and operating agent-based systems will be given preference.
What you’ll work on
· Build and improve backend services in C# and .NET 8.
· Develop internal tools and workflow-heavy UI in React and TypeScript.
· Work on features involving quoting, dispatching, tracking, invoicing, pay, asset, carrier, and customer record management.
· Use patterns like MediatR/CQRS, Validation, EF Core, and Azure SQL backed data access
· Diagnose production issues, improve reliability, and ship pragmatic fixes quickly with the help of Sentry.
· Help design and integrate AI agents into real business workflows, not just prototypes
· Potentially contribute to React Native mobile application projects.
· Potentially contribute to large suite of reports built in Domo.
What we’re looking for
· Strong professional experience with C# and .NET 8 preferably with 3+ years of experience
· Strong React experience with TypeScript
· Solid understanding of APIs, relational databases, and production systems
· Comfortable working in a complex business domain with a large existing codebase
· Able to balance feature delivery with maintainability and correctness
· Good judgment around debugging, edge cases, and operational risk
· Optional, building or maintaining mobile apps with React Native
· Optional, building and maintaining report datasets in Domo.
Strong pluses
· Experience building AI agents, copilots, workflow automation, or LLM-powered tools
· Experience with logistics, transportation, dispatch, fleet, or supply chain software
· Familiarity with EF Core, Azure, SignalR, or SQL Server
· Experience integrating third-party APIs, mapping/geolocation, and event-driven architecture
