Duties
Develop and maintain responsive web applications using front-end technologies such as JavaScript and frameworks like Ruby on Rails.
Design and implement robust back-end services with languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, and utilise RESTful APIs for seamless integration.
Manage source code using version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, and Git.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.
Optimise application performance and ensure scalability on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices in software development.
Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high standards of quality assurance.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in full-stack development with proficiency in JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, .NET, VBA, and SQL databases such as MySQL.
Strong understanding of front-end development principles alongside experience with APIs, RESTful services, and application development frameworks.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms including AWS and Azure is highly desirable.
Experience working within Linux environments and using version control tools like GitHub, Git, SVN.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies and agile practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
