About Mariana Minerals

Mariana Minerals is a software-first, vertically integrated minerals company on a mission to supply the critical minerals powering modern energy, AI, and defense technologies. We’re reimagining the minerals supply chain by combining deep industry expertise with advanced software, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

Our culture is built on three principles:

Extreme Ownership – We take full responsibility for outcomes, relentlessly driving toward solutions.

Engineer Out Requirements, then Automate – We simplify, optimize, and then automate for scale.

Share Your Legos – We collaborate openly, share knowledge, and empower each other to build bigger, better solutions.

Join us as we build the future of responsible mineral sourcing and supply.

The Role

We are hiring a Product Manager to guide product strategy, documentation, and market readiness across Mariana’s portfolio. This role bridges market analysis and product execution, ensuring that our products are both technically validated and commercially positioned for success.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing external product documentation, including specifications, certifications, and reports that translate technical outputs into clear market-facing materials. These deliverables will demonstrate product quality, compliance, and readiness for adoption while supporting Mariana’s broader commercial and strategic growth. You will also contribute to strategic evaluations of products and project opportunities. This is a high-impact role with visibility to both internal leadership and external partners.

What You’ll Do

Lead product opportunity reviews by integrating market, technical, and commercial perspectives to assess new segment opportunities and product direction

Collaborate with engineering and product development to evaluate flowsheet options, informed by product requirements and market and commercial analysis

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to evaluate market opportunities for end-products and byproducts, incorporating research, customer feedback, and pricing benchmarks

Develop and maintain product and customer requirement documents (including specifications, packaging requirements) and customer-facing documentation

Oversee customer qualification processes, ensuring that product documentation, specifications, and certifications meet customer requirements for approval and adoption

Produce concise, well-structured documents and presentations for executives, partners, and customers

Ensure compliance deliverables are completed, including life cycle assessments

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, chemistry, or a related technical field

3–6 years of experience in product management, product strategy, or commercialization in industrials, chemicals, or materials

Strong ability to translate technical information into external documentation and commercial decisions

Experience managing product specifications, documentation, certifications, and compliance processes

Excellent communication skills, with experience working across levels and functions to align engineering, market research, and commercial teams

Strong organizational and project management skills; experience with stage-gate or structured review processes preferred

Comfort working in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment with shifting priorities

Why Join Us?

At Mariana Minerals, you’ll be part of a mission-driven team reshaping the way critical minerals are sourced and supplied globally. You’ll have the autonomy to make big decisions, the tools to innovate, and a culture that values ownership, smart automation, and collaboration.

Mariana is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.

Compensation Range: $150K - $200K
