Position Information

Position Title: Safety Production Manager

Reporting Line: Group Operation Director

Team Size: Directly manages a team of 7 people (will be increased according to the actual operation situation)

Work Location: Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico

Core Role: Oversee the team in implementing EHS management, production operations, and equipment management; ensure chemical production processes are compliant, efficient, and safe; and align with the production compliance requirements of the company.

Job Responsibilities

EHS Management

Establish and implement an EHS system that complies with local Mexican regulations as well as the group company's policy and procedures, covering the entire process of environmental compliance, occupational health, and work safety. Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard inspections to prevent any safety accidents and environmental violations.

Lead safety training to ensure 100% of the team masters EHS standards. Develop special Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) for high-risk links in chemical production, such as raw material storage and reaction processes.

Handle EHS-related deviations and emergencies. For any accident or incident, it shall be reported and handled promptly in accordance with the requirements of the group company.

Production Operations

Lead the 10-person team in executing production plans. Focus on the company’s production schedules, quality standards, and cost management, and ensure product delivery meets order requirements.

Supervise the compliance of production processes. Strictly adhere to company operating standards (e.g., production parameter monitoring, product quality inspection).

Coordinate cross-departmental resources (e.g., warehousing, quality assurance) to resolve production bottlenecks. Regularly report production data (capacity, qualification rate, costs, etc.) to the Operation Director and drive continuous improvement of production processes.

Equipment Management

Be responsible for the full-lifecycle management of production equipment (e.g., reactors, mixing tanks, testing instruments). Develop equipment maintenance plans, performance qualification protocols, and technical modification schemes to ensure stable equipment operation and reduce downtime due to failures.

Organize equipment operation and maintenance training to ensure team members proficiently master equipment usage standards, and prevent equipment damage or safety accidents caused by improper operation.

Team Management

Manage the daily work of the team, including scheduling, performance evaluation, and skill training to improve the team’s professional capabilities and collaboration efficiency.

Implement all EHS and production management requirements of the group company in the Mexican factory, and proactively communicate and strive to achieve the goals for the group’s shared objectives.

Job Requirements

Education \& Major: Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Candidates with production management experience in the chemical industry are preferred.

Work Experience:

Above 8 years of work safety and production management experience in the chemical industry, with at least 3 year of team management experience (must have experience leading a team of 5 or more people).

Familiar with local Mexican EHS regulations, the Federal Labor Law, and chemical industry production standards. Candidates with experience in building EHS systems or managing equipment in chemical product manufacturing enterprises are preferred.

Soft Skills:

Communication \& Coordination: Possess cross-departmental collaboration capabilities, able to efficiently communicate with the group company in China.

Compliance Awareness: Strictly abide by Mexican laws, regulations, and company systems, and have a keen judgment of compliance risks in chemical production.

Leadership: Capable of effectively managing a team, motivating team members, and coordinating the team to achieve production and safety goals.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,000.00 - $77,000.00 per month
