Reporting to the CTO, this is a fulltime remote contracting position (Monday–Friday) with guaranteed hours and paid leave in time zones spanning UTC+2 to UTC-6. An attractive salary package will be offered to qualified candidates.

Requirements: What You’ll Do

Work with a team of highly skilled software engineers in the creation of new features for a SaaS product built on top of Elixir Phoenix and Liveview that is helping our industry visualize risks in their third-party vendor ecosystem.

Design and develop highly interactive UI features including data visualizations, micro-animations, and rich user interfaces, translating Figma designs into polished, functional features.

Lead UI/UX design and frontend technology decisions for the team. You will own and shape the design system for our product.

Participate in team standup meetings on a daily basis, Monday through Friday. Be available for team collaboration with other developers and QA team members as needed.

Attend team product demo meetings and demo new features to internal stakeholders on a biweekly basis.

Create and maintain test coverage that will improve the quality, maintainability, and resiliency of our software.

Ensure that we are always working to achieve the highest level of software security during product development.

Work alongside fellow team members to improve and maintain software process maturity in the areas of CI/CD, documentation, automated tests, automated quality and security scans, infrastructure configuration, and other control points during product launches.

What We’re Looking For

6+ years of experience building high-quality web applications for business users in industries that require a high level of software process maturity.

You deeply care about solving customers' problems and building a delightful experience with a keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for building intuitive, delightful, and high-performing UI/UX.

You work well in a high agency environment and you can implement multiple features given a broad direction or scope.

You’ve worked with multiple frontend frameworks (Javascript, CSS) and have experience leading unbiased conversations about the pros and cons of various frameworks.

You have the skills and experience needed to set up a backend development environment and independently develop features.

You care about true code quality and value the long term benefits of maintainability. You have opinions about multiple aspects of your work and can confidently propose them when you think it’ll lead to a better outcome.

English language proficiency (CEFR C1 or better), certification is not required.
