As a Setting Out Engineer, you will be the technical lead on-site, ensuring that all structural elements are positioned accurately according to design specifications. This role requires a high level of precision, particularly within the fast-paced environment of Reinforced Concrete (RC) frame construction.
Key Responsibilities
Precision Setting Out: Execute accurate setting out for RC frames, including columns, slabs, core walls, and holding down bolts.
Instrument Management: Operate and maintain Robotic Total Stations (Leica, Topcon, or Trimble) to establish site control and provide precise grid lines and levels.
Quality Control: Perform as-built surveys and provide detailed reports to ensure work meets tolerance standards.
Technical Liaison: Read and interpret structural drawings (CAD/BIM) and communicate effectively with the site management and subcontracting teams.
Safety \& Compliance: Ensure all engineering activities are carried out in compliance with Health \& Safety regulations and company quality proceduresRequirements
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Setting Out Engineer, with a proven track record specifically on RC Frame projects.
